The verdict is out – Ellen Degeneres, comedian, is a hit on American Idol. The people have spoken. Ellen brings a fun filled, humorous feel to American Idol. Although rumors are surfacing stating that her and Simon Cowell are fueding, they are false. She is getting along with all the AI judges.

What’s great about this new judge is that it has boosted ratings for American Idol. It’s been stated that around 28 million viewed into the debut of Ellen on American Idol. That’s great news for the show. Now that it’s known Simon Cowell is leaving after this season to pursue “The X Factor” it’s nice to know that Ellen might be able to keep this show afloat. Good luck!

Channing Tatum is such a hot hottie god! He starred in the original Step Up, the war drama Stop Loss and is now starring in the hit love movie Dear John. I’m sure he’s been many more movies but those are the ones that make him look super hot. Too bad he’s taken!

Yes, he has googly-eyes for his co-star in Step Up Jenna Dewan. He proposed to her in 2008! I’m sure they’ll be spending Valentine’s Day together chilling out, watching a movie and making love faces to each other! I’m trying not to be jealous but it’s hard! The Grammy’s were a spectacular this year. From Pinks death defying stunt while singing to Lady Gaga and Elton John duet together, the Grammy’s had it all. And the big winner was definitely Beyonce totaling 6 Grammy wins.

Beyonce sang “If I Were A Boy” smashed with Alanis Morissette’s “U Oughtta Know” for a mesmerizing performance. She wore a spiked futuristic dress and was surrounded by what looked like counter terrorist officers.

James Cameron won big for his movie Avatar at yesterday’s Golden Globe Awards. He won best director and best drama in a science fiction category for his blockbuster movie Avatar.

Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes and did a great job and cracking up inappropriate jokes. Other wins went to Mo’Nique in her portrayal as an abusive mother in Precious about a teenager facing pregnancy and an abusive mother. For TV, Michael C. Hall won best actor for his portrayal of Dexter in the Showtime show Dexter.

If you haven’t already heard or seen, Kate Gosselin is sporting a new long hair do on the cover of People magazine. She is wearing some shiny new hair extensions on the January issue of People. Out with the old and in with the new.
