What’s great about this new judge is that it has boosted ratings for American Idol. It’s been stated that around 28 million viewed into the debut of Ellen on American Idol. That’s great news for the show. Now that it’s known Simon Cowell is leaving after this season to pursue “The X Factor” it’s nice to know that Ellen might be able to keep this show afloat. Good luck!

Beyonce sang “If I Were A Boy” smashed with Alanis Morissette’s “U Oughtta Know” for a mesmerizing performance. She wore a spiked futuristic dress and was surrounded by what looked like counter terrorist officers.

'Avatar' Scored Big At The Golden Globes

James Cameron won big for his movie Avatar at yesterday’s Golden Globe Awards. He won best director and best drama in a science fiction category for his blockbuster movie Avatar.

Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes and did a great job and cracking up inappropriate jokes. Other wins went to Mo’Nique in her portrayal as an abusive mother in Precious about a teenager facing pregnancy and an abusive mother. For TV, Michael C. Hall won best actor for his portrayal of Dexter in the Showtime show Dexter.

Although this is negative press for Tiger, in the long run, it will probably do good for his career. Take a look at President Clinton and his wife, now the Secretary of State. Or Kobe Bryant who is doing great now? So just wait 6 months and you will see Tiger rise above it all.

'Hills' Stephanie Pratt Arrested!

It has been stated that “Hills” reality star, Stephanie Pratt, and sister to notorious Spencer Pratt, has been arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. She was arrested by Los Angeles Police force this past Sunday, October 18 at a party in Hollywood.

She was put in a Van Nuys jail but was recently released with a $5,000 bail. Stephanie Pratt has been known to drink excessively on the “Hills” and has had a long history of drug use. It is no doubt that the pressures of Hollywood will induce more drug use from reality stars such as Pratt. Let’s hope she gets some help away from the lime light and focus on herself for a change.

Now fans are wanting Miley back and have organized on Twitter and it’s called “mileycomeback” which is extremely popular.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 is no more. Starting November 2nd, the show will be renamed Kate Plus 8. John will still appear but much less often and won’t have a big part in the show. TLC decided this after Jon was displaying inappropriate behavior that conflicted with the show’s ideal of a good father. Will this be a turn around for the show? I doubt it. I feel that the show will be off the air by the end of the year or soon thereafter. People want to see how Jon and Kate interact and deal with conflict. With John gone, what’s left? Watching the kids play?

Kate Gosslin, of John & Kate Plus 8, was a co-host for The View last week or so and didn’t do such a good job I felt. She rarely had time to ask questions and any questions were for her to answer regarding her split with John and the kids. Reports are now circurling that she may have her own talkshow called MomLogic. It is based on the popular mommy website.

Will she get the talk show? Will it be a hit? Who knows. I think she is riding the celebrity train and seeing where it will take her.
