Lauren Conrad, who starred onMTV’s reality show called The Hills, came out with her first novel on June 16 of this year. It is called “L.A. Candy” and it is about a young woman coming of age in Hollywood on a reality series. Sounds oddly familiar doesn’t it? The book is basically her life on The Hills only the names and show has changed.

Lauren’s first book is categorized as Young Adult and it is 336 pages long. It is about a young adult named Jane and her friend Scarlett in LA. They meet up with a Hollywood producer they audition for a new reality series. Needless to say it is a fluff read for lounging on the beach or in your backyard.
