Whitney Port, of MTV’s The City and The Hills, was seen this past weekend in Miami attending the Swim Fashion Week. She got some free time to sport a bikini splashing around in Florida while filming The City. Whitney Port was known on The Hills as Lauren Conrad’s professional friend. Going solo for The City is a big step for Whitney Port, who already has her own clothing line called Whitney Eve. You’ll have to watch The City to see what’s in store for this fashionista gal.

According to inside sources, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo broke up right before Jessica’s 29th birthday. Jessica actually canceled her Barbie themed party because of the break up. This breakup seems a long time coming but one never knows if they are truly broken up. They began dating in 2007 shortly after her break up with Nick Lachey. Jessica seems in high spirits after her break up and her birthday. She feels a year older and enjoys growing up.

Lauren Conrad, famous for being a reality TV star on Laguna and The Hills, has recently wrote a chick-lit book called, “L.A. Candy“. This 23-year-old debut novel hit the NY best seller list for the past two weeks. What a surprise! But I guess people feel the novel is a portrayal of her life on The Hills and want the inside scoop. The book does follow a fictional character, much resembling Lauren, on her fame in L.A. and her role on a reality series. I guess write what you know right??

Pop star Britney Spears has been wearing the star of David around her neck during her world tour. She is currently dating her agent Jason Trawick. Jason is a follower of Judaism so does that mean Britney wants to be Jewish? This is not the first time Britney has switched religions on a whim. In 2005 she dabbled in Kabbalah after it was introduced to her by Madonna. To each their own Brit!
