Kate Gosselin – Talk Show Material?

Kate Gosslin, of John & Kate Plus 8, was a co-host for The View last week or so and didn’t do such a good job I felt. She rarely had time to ask questions and any questions were for her to answer regarding her split with John and the kids. Reports are now circurling that she may have her own talkshow called MomLogic. It is based on the popular mommy website.

Will she get the talk show? Will it be a hit? Who knows. I think she is riding the celebrity train and seeing where it will take her.

John & Kate Plus 8 – They Are Separated

John and Kate Gosselin have stated that they will separate on tonight’s episode of TLC’s “John & Kate Plus 8.” As this was filmed prior to the first airing of their shows season, you can see that they have never really been in the same shot. They stated that “this” has been going on for 7 or 8 months and it isn’t due to the show. Kate said that even if there wasn’t a show, this could very well have happened.

Kate is hurt and confused. John will not talk to her and is angry at her. Why? I would think Kate would be mad and angry at John for all the alleged allegations.

On the show, it stated the following:
“On Monday June 22, 2009 legal proceedings were initiated in Pennsylvania to dissolve the ten-year marriage of Jon and Kate Gosselin.”

John and Kate Gosselin have made covers of numerous magazines telling their side of the story. Who should we believe?
John having an affair with third grade school teacher Deanna Hummel or Kate Gosselin having an affair with her body guard Steve Nelid?

Both parties have denied such affairs, but pictures and magazine covers prove to differ in that opinion. Is this a ploy to get their show, “John and Kate Plus 8” more fan view?

Their show, undoubtedly, has been watched with interest eyes since they have been on magazine covers and the word affair and divorce has been plaguing them. Their latest season, aired right after Memorial Day with a bang. The premiere episode opened up to the birthday party for their six children who turned five.

The tension between John and Kate could be seen in every scene of the show. Neither John nor Kate were together in any of the interviews and rarely were together at the birthday party.

Ensuing episodes show Kate traveling to California with Maddy, their nine year old daughter and John traveling to Utah with their nine year old daughter Cara. More recent episodes have Emeril Lagasse showing them how to cook granola and crew from American Chopper making a motorcycle for John.

It seems to me this is all a ploy to get more ratings. Kate Gosselin has mentioned numerous times that she loves the lime light. I mean look at how drastic she has changed. John has also mentioned how much he hates having his life on public display. Will this be the last season for them? Their upcoming episode is a “special 1 hour” show where they seem to be talking about where they will end up.

They seem to have some big announcement to tell the world. Is this a way to get more people to watch? Who knows. Let’s hope they work out their problems, shelter their lives a bit more and stay strong.
